Guide to Streaming Apple's iPad Launch Event this Tuesday

Spring signals the arrival of not just warmer weather, but also a fresh batch of iPads. Tomorrow, Apple is set to host a live event at 10 AM ET, titled Let Loose, where it will introduce new additions to its tablet lineup. While you can catch the keynote right here with the YouTube stream we've provided, it'll also be accessible on Apple's website and the Apple TV+ app. So, what can we expect from this unveiling? Well, brace yourselves for a plethora of tablets. Apple has kept details under wraps, but rumors point towards a new OLED iPad Pro and an updated iPad Air.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the speculated iPad Pro might leapfrog the M3 chipset, with a strong chance of featuring the next-gen M4. Gurman hints at Apple's emphasis on AI branding, dubbing it the "first truly AI-powered device." Besides potentially integrating AI for intuitive interactions, the OLED screen promises vivid colors and deeper blacks, all in a sleeker form factor owing to the thinner OLED panels. Rumors also hint at a glass back for MagSafe charging. As for the iPad Air, overdue for an upgrade after two years, it might not boast a cutting-edge chipset or OLED display, but an M2 chip could be in the cards. Reports even suggest a shift in the front-facing camera's placement to the landscape edge.

Adding to the intrigue, whispers suggest a beefed-up 12.9-inch iPad Air could be in development, offering a budget-friendly option for larger-screen enthusiasts. But the event isn't solely about tablets; it's also about their accessories. Brace yourself for a revamped Magic Keyboard, possibly crafted from aluminum, tailored for the iPad Pro line. Additionally, a new Apple Pencil might make its debut, speculated to support Vision Pro drawing apps alongside tablet apps.
